Infomationly, I am 78 years old and a retired AT&T employee. I am thoroughly satisfied with Mint, especially since I only pay $15 month instead of over $50. To take advantage of Mint Mobiles 5G coverage, a Mint. As for any service issues such as no connection, drop calls and so on, I have not had any of those issues. 7 /10 Coverage Map See Plans & Prices Unlimited calls, texts, and data Excellent coverage. Admittedly, Mint customer service leaves a lot to be desired, but I don't have any of the issues that I've read in the negative reviews here. Backed by Verizon’s network, Spectrum Mobile customers can expect an unrivaled 4G LTE network that spans 71 of the nation. To solve this issue, AT&T removed my # from the family plan and set it up on a single line account. Spectrum Mobiles coverage map has a huge leg up on much of its competition. Turns out that since I was on a family plan with AT&T, my # wouldn't port. The only problem I had was transferring/porting my phone number from AT&T to Mint. I originally did the 7 day trial and then went with the 12 month plan. They have had absolutely no problems even when they were driving from the east coast to Texas. Mint Mobile plans offers wireless coverage on the T-Mobile 5G and 4G LTE network. They originally lived on the north east coast and last year moved to Texas. Mint Mobile 20GB plan includes unlimited mins, unlimited texts and 20GB data for only 15 per month. My daughter and her family has two lines on Mint and have had that service for a long time. Since I only do talk and text, I decided to try a different service. I was paying over $50 per month for their unlimited plan which had 4 other phone numbers on it (family members). Only time will tell if the SPAM calls cease but so far so good. 5G for free You get premium wireless service on the nation’s largest 5G network, but for way less than what big wireless companies charge. Very disappointing indeed! UPDATE: I contacted Mint chat and they resolved my issues by giving me a new number. but mine still persists in being more a nuisance than a usable phone service. To Mint's credit, they did change that number. My partner had a phone that belonged to a former drug dealer and was getting calls from his parole officer and the rehab centre confirming appointments. I don't want to block unidentified calls altogether, but it is insane the number of calls I get from bogus numbers, mostly robocallers. So I am paying for a phone I cannot answer. What gives with these crazy US prices? Anyway, aside from the low-ish price of the Mint plan and all their cutesy advertising, I found the phone number I received gets many scam calls. While Mint was the cheapest it still comes in twice the price of my same service from Vodafone, one of the largest companies in the UK. Having just relocated back from the UK to the USA, I was dumbstruck by the high cost of mobile phone service (MUCH more expensive than the UK!). Great price - but a hiccup or two along the way. When comparing carrier 5G coverage maps, T-Mobile comes in first with the best 5G network overall at 53.79 nationwide coverage, AT&T slides in at second at 29, Verizon is in third at 12.77, and U.S.
